On True Power & Control

~ True power doesn’t live anywhere where we can use control. Our true power lives in spirit.

~ Everywhere where I impose control is where I tie myself to something or someone.

~ Control identifies me to things and ideas that I am not.

~ Control ties me up in knots.

~ Control is a contraction in the heart and mind. It prevents me from seeing how my life carries me in everything I do.

~ Control isolates you, makes you separate, makes you single. All the while the truth is that you’re interconnected and whole with everything and everyone.

~ It’s actually so freeing to see, to feel “I’m not in control”.

~ Any attempt at control is an attempt to establish a power separate and apart from God, life, this infinitely intelligent universe.
